Ingredients:
- Karuppu Kavuni rice-3/4 cup
- Moong dal-1/4 cup
- Nattu sakkarai -2 cup
- Coconut milk-2 cup
- Cardamom powder
- Cashew, raisin, ghee
Steps:
- Wash & soak the black rice for 30 mts.
- Remove water, and dry roast the rice low flame for 15 to 20 mts.
- Rice will pop up then off the flame.
- Rest for 10 mts then break the rice gently in a mixer(not like powder).
- In a pressure cooker add the broken rice & moong dal, for 4-5 whistle.
- Once the pressure release, slightly mash the rice with ladle, boil it again in medium flame.
- Add Nattu sakkarai, cardamom for taste.
